Flyding's answers & expected age rating · Effective 18 July 2026
Flyding references venues that serve alcohol and offers paid,
randomized reward boxes (gacha). Together these push Flyding into a mature rating.
Here are the answers we give on the ratings questionnaires and the ratings we expect.
17+APPLE

Frequent/Intense alcohol references + simulated gambling.
17+MATURE
Google Play / ESRB
Mature 17+ — alcohol references, in-game purchases (loot boxes).
18PEGI
PEGI (Europe)
PEGI 18 due to gambling-style mechanics; alcohol content descriptor.
Why mature? Two answers drive it:
(1) references to alcohol and venues that serve
it, and
(2) the option to spend real money on
randomized reward boxes ("paid
gacha"), which most boards treat as simulated gambling / in-app purchases. We also self-restrict Flyding to users
21 and over, with in-app age verification gating loot boxes and alcohol perks. Odds are disclosed on our
Loot Box Odds page.

Does the app contain references to alcohol, tobacco, or drugs?
YesReferences to alcohol — bars, lounges, and cocktail menus at partner venues. No promotion of tobacco or illegal drugs.
Does the app depict the use of alcohol?
NoFlyding references venues and drink menus but does not depict consumption or instruct on use.
Does the app enable the purchase of alcohol?
NoFlyding books tables only. It does not sell or deliver alcohol.
Does the app offer paid, randomized virtual items (loot boxes / gacha)?
YesReward boxes with randomized contents can be obtained with purchasable Sparks. Odds and a pity system are disclosed in-app and online.
Does the app contain simulated gambling or gambling-style mechanics?
YesRandomized reward boxes are treated as simulated gambling by several rating boards, even though no real-money payout is possible.
Can users gamble with real money for real-world value?
NoRewards are virtual, non-transferable, and have no cash value. There is no cash-out.
Does the app contain in-app purchases?
YesSparks and Flyding+ billed through the App Store / Google Play; booking deposits and a $5 cooldown-skip processed via Stripe.
Does the app share the user's location?
YesLocation is used to find nearby tables; a first name and party details are shared with the chosen venue. See Data Safety. Does the app contain violence, sexual content, or profanity?
NoFlyding contains none of these.
Is the app directed to or appropriate for children?
NoFlyding is a 21+ product and is not designed for or targeted to children.

Final ratings are assigned by each board/store based on the submitted
questionnaire and may differ slightly by region. The values above are Flyding's expected outcomes given the answers.

How Flyding stays compliant
- 21+ gate: eligibility is set to 21+ in our Terms and enforced at sign-up, with additional age verification for loot boxes and alcohol perks.
- Disclosed odds: every loot box drop rate and the pity system are published — see Loot Box Odds.
- No real-money payout: virtual items cannot be cashed out or traded.
- Clear purchase info: prices and odds are shown before any purchase.
- Responsible messaging: alcohol is referenced responsibly; we never encourage overconsumption.
